Buying Guide
- Surface compatibility: Consider whether you want stickers for walls, windows, vehicles, or apparel. Vinyl and die-cut stickers generally perform well outdoors, while patches excel on fabric.
- Durability and weather resistance: Look for UV coating and water protection if exposure to sun or rain is likely. Vinyl decals typically offer longer outdoor lifespans.
- Application method: Patches require heat (iron-on) and surface prep; decals and stickers usually apply with adhesive backing. Ensure the chosen item matches the surface and installation method you prefer.
- Finish and color fidelity: Official licensed designs tend to preserve the original artwork more accurately. Check for vibrant colors that resist fading over time.
- Size considerations: Item dimensions vary from small patches to large decals. Align size with the intended display space to achieve the desired visual impact.
- Versatility: If you want a single piece that travels across contexts, opt for a die-cut sticker with high adhesion and a broad surface compatibility, such as laptops, skateboards, and cars.
- Maintenance: Some decals are water-protected but may require gentle cleaning. Patches are washable if applied to garments; verify care instructions from the manufacturer.
- Brand and licensing: Licensed Dan Morris designs ensure authenticity and adherence to the original artwork, which may be important for collectors and fans.
